Mesothelioma is a dangerous type of cancer involving mesothelial tissues of body organs at lungs or abdominal. It is often caused by exposure to asbestos.
However, there are 30% - 50% of patients of this dangerous cancer without any history of asbestos exposure. There is some evidence that beta-carotene or pro-vitamin A may decrease the dangerous risk of mesothelioma. |
